I see a few fish (that you can get at pet store) and sometimes some trash. Maybe it's because I get paranoid and keep hearing the theme music from 'Jaws' and can't get comfortable underwater. lol

the first time i snorkeled with my son(just turned six) was in paradise cove. no balls back then. all the rest is exactly the same
