A nice South coast shore mark, its where my wife caught her first ever fish and is a comfortable spot the whole family can fish. By day it offers a variety of species by your feet or some bigger baits further out might find some bass. I

Heya dude, you should use a red lamp. Since water is blue, red light does not travel so well in water so most fish are blind to red light and it appears black to them. Some fish species can see red light but it's uncommon, and a few deep sea residents exploit it as bio-luminescence to ambush prey, but not too many marine species can see it. White light is cool as a background lamp for your camp/setup area, as long as it's shielded from the water, but use red light when it's exposed to the water eg. headlamp etc. Speaking as a marine sciences graduate!

Don't tell me you have a daughter as well, when I've been wining about my houseful of giggling hormonal females, couldn't quite get her name because the sound came in and out but it sounded like Lizzie? She is lovely I bet you are so proud getting a teenage female to fish, I can't get mine to make me a cuppa. Fantastic watching at 02: 00am in the morning x Love to all the family and thank you again for making life bearable

Its funny you mentioned the full moon & conger when I was younger I used to go almost every weekend with some friends for conger. Over a year the nights with a full moon were definitely not as productive.
