When fishing in Florida, it was said that when a decent sized shark is caught and the fisherman wants to take it home to eat, the head of the shark should be cut off immediately, to stop the stress hormones from flooding around the body of the shark and spoiling the meat (making it taste bad. Have you heard this? If this is the case, shouldn't that apply to Bull Huss and Dogfish?
Also, the lady who said this said that the shark's fillets should be soaked in Buttermilk.

The look on the young blokes face when he was staring out the starfish was intrense, as if to say 'you move and you're a gonna mate' lol. I noticed one of your guys questions was one I would like to know also. Is a bull huss also called Rock salmon? If you get the time can you give some alternative names for some of the fish which have them? I know that fresh fish shops sell them under different names and look forward to the cooking and tasting. Hi John great shots of the pots. I can imagine the sense of excitement wondering what-s going to be in them. Hooked a giant lobster one year of Anglesey. Nobody told me not to let them break the surface. Once it did it let go and I lost it. The skipper said i would nearly have paid for our days fishing if he could have got a hook on it. Agh well that-s the joy of fishing.

Awesome video, very enjoyable to watch. Have you ever caught a Weever Fish. I caught one once off the pier at Felixstowe, got stung on the hand because at the time I didn't know what it was, didn't make that mistake again.
