I was over your way for the last few days (on the Scilly Isles, and drove back from Penzance last night. We managed to get some fishing done from a borrowed boat (not a sausage, but the clarity of the water made me want to spend all of my time in the water. Next time, I'm taking a wetsuit. You are SO lucky to have this on your doorstep.
It's pretty scary when the fog comes in though - thank goodness for modern aids such as the average smartphone which can get basic navigation apps to keep you out of trouble (I am now wearing that particular T-Shirt.

I just copied and pasted my comment from a previous video. Hi there. I was wondering if you know the trick to take off the soot of the bottom of your pots, pans, etc. You put a thin film of dish soap on the pot ar pan before cooking on the fire. Makes for easy washing at clean up, so you don't have to worry about getting things all black when you pack up. Just a little something my parents did when we went fishing and had a shore lunch, or went camping. Cheers --- P. S. I love all those stones, my Daddy taught me to be a rock hound too. -

Such wonderful camping memories for you and your family. The picture of the fire at night was stunning! I do have one question for you. If you are diving and catch a fish by hand, as I have seen you do in the past, can you keep them to eat? Didn't know if regulations allow that. I know here in US, there are seasons for different fish, how many lines, etc. Thanks as always for sharing with us and teaching us along the way. All the best to the fish locker family!

Aw naw! Near the end of my shift this morning I watched Hannagh cook up some crispy dog fish and a stir fry and nearly gnawed the leg off my chair.
Now you've just cooked chips, burgers, steak and beans!
I've only started my shift and all I have is cereal and banana.
(I feel a chinese delivery will be in order)
Great video and underwater footage and glad wee James is better ---

Just watched this vid again. great combo of camping and underwater pics. I am curious. how does it work in the UK when it comes to just pitching a tent on what I guess is public land and also lighting a fire. I suspect if I tried this where I live in France I would end the night camping in the nearest plod station or at least lighter of pocket--

What a perfect day. I'm used to seeing videos of blokes doing outdoor activities, but to have videos featuring the family is brilliant. It's what family life should be about. Teaching new skills and enjoying outdoors together. Your James will thank you when he gets older.
