I do enjoy hauling The Fish Locker lobster pots. I am always excited to see what they may have caught. Crabs, Lobsters, Starfish and who knows what other underwater sea creatures? Today I am bringing the pots in to a sheltered area before we have some bad weather. I show and explain the catch, how to ID different sexes and show explain about pregnant lobsters. The relevant laws protecting them and show V notching with V notching clippers. Protecting her and releasing her back into the ocean

Cheers my friend from your friend over here on the other side of the pond. Another great video. And yes. I've had those Sabiki hooks in my hand numerous times. When I worked on a 90 foot party boat years ago every once in a while someone would break off a Sabiki rig in the anchor rope and never tell anyone. Well when you are using a Windless to bring up the anchor at a good pace it pains to get a Sabiki hook in your hands then. Been there and done that!
It sounds like you will be getting the kind of weather we just had here for the last week.
It's starting to be better here. Running more river charters on days when we can't get out on the ocean.
So cheers mate. and hope you and your entire family stays healthy and safe!

Hey Fish Locker family. Hope you all well: -. Please could you do a quick vid or section on U. K. mussels? I know they ain-t your favourite: -. I have just found a huge bed near Hurst Castle. Never seen that kind of breed before. They were quite like chunky rocks. Sharp edges but really heavy. I-ve eaten South African oysters before and they looked more flat like. anyways would be great if you found yourself among oysters if you could try -label- a few. I-ll try email pics of those by hurst castle. So you can advise: -)

Another fantastic video, thank you. So I-ll make you an offer, for exchange for all the enjoyment and education from your videos if you ever find yourself in the western United States, I would be more than happy to take you and your family on a cost free fly fishing/adventure guided day trip. No need for gear or anything, and that my friend is a rock solid promise.

Great stuff as usual. I used to crew for a mate who did Shellfish surveys off the Yorkshire coast. Used to get Lobsters and Crabs as reward for my work and I have to say Would sooner eat Crab then Lobster any time, Especially the females which have more brown meat which I love with a bit of malt vinegar and white pepper. Mouths watering!

Wow, what a monster, I really like crabs especially the brown meat, it's more tastier than the claws, I think so anyway. Do you ever get any problems with people stealing from your pots? they always look so vulnerable. Your videos make my day, keep them coming, thanks.

Hello. Does the Directory of Fisheries have any program where they breed lobsters with the intantion of putting them into the sea to secure the stock from overfishing. I'm looking forward to see you pullover up some big pollock -
