We do love our FishLocker lobster pots and making these videos really has been a lot of fun, but sadly as you know we have had a lot of pots stolen - and the problem is only getting worse. That is over 10 pots we have had stolen this year alone and at -70 each it is not cheap. As a result this we will not be working our Lobster pots again for a few months at least until the summer boaters have gone. I

Could you set without floats and grapple them back from the GPS location? Don't know if that's practical or legal, but it might let you keep fishing when the thieves are about. I'd also wonder if it's really summer folk. I can see them pulling your pots and taking lobsters, but taking the pots doesn't make much sense since they'll only be in the area a short while. Better to leave them, and let you keep baiting and repairing them. Around here if pots go missing that's usually the commercial guys taking them to cut stake out their territory and cut down on the competition. Lastly, you might think about getting a tracking tag to hide in the pots. They're not to expensive, a lot cheaper than pots, and from what I understand they work really well with your phone. -

Someones watching your videos and watching where your pots location are from that and know the area, I'd watch for cars passing your home to see if your at home though its poor to be in a position that this day and age seems to provide, what absolute AH live amongs us. Definitely get them radio tagged and make a report ot the police and I would guess should they continue to be robbed from you its the same people and if you can get them on the shore this BS is resolved. Best wishes to a speedy resolution. Id even plant them in a location you can watch make a good noise about great catches, big lobbys best ever to tempt them and be able to watch any activity around them, how ever they probably read this comments and know better to continue messing with them now.

Another good one thanks John. Some nice Lobsters and a proper size Edible Crab! Shame about the missing pots. It always amazes me that if they are being stolen, there must be locals about at the slipways, and you would think somebody would notice a strange boat unloading pots. I do wonder if the boat you had trouble with earlier in the season is involved? And it's not just the pots - the people doing this are just as likety to take undersized shellfish & berried Hen Lobsters. A Belated Happy Birthday to James - stay safe & well. --

That a shame about he Tea leaves that are around I don-t see why people think it ok to help themselves to others property, there should be a law out to discourage this behaviour but you did get some cracking looking lobsters all be it they were not all the size but there-s always the good old fishing rod take care till the ne t one

Its such a shame mate about the missing pots. And unfortunately like you said it's the world we live in. No matter what it is at some point some nob head will spoil it and its just not fair. I just hope if they had any thing in the pots I hope they cook it wrong and get food poisoning -. Tight lines bro all the best ---

It's honestly so sad thatvpeople would actually float past and think they have the right to pick them pots up---. But i honestly love how you just put them lobsters back more people on the planet we need like you love the way you said I'd rather put them back if she's a breeding female --. You are a gentleman---

Many years ago (70s) when I was lobstering it was considered 100% UNSPEAKABLE for a pot to be 'stolen'. we wouldn't so much as even 'touch' another man's buffs/dahns/bobbers UNLESS he'd 'shot you down with the inevitable frap that ensued. SAD to hear your words on thieving.

Just adding my condolences on suffering your most recent bout of thievery. I know where I-d be looking for answers from first; everyone-s least favourite red boat owner.
Thanks for the ongoing, quality, content in the face of some serious shit-wizardry. You are a gent.

I'm so sorry that you and the people near you have been experiencing this. You know if you started a gofundme or patreon or something, im sure lots of us subcribers would help you out! I know that won't solve the problem with the pot thief, but it's an option.
