Aaron Shirley and I find the motherlode of walleye on a mid lake shoal on Lake St. Joseph with Slate Falls Outposts.
We mainly targeted pike while there, but the walleye fishing was ridiculous. Every single point, hump, neck down and rock pile was teeming with quality fish! I believe there is no limit to the amount of walleyes you could catch in a day weather permitting if you focused on them.
Anything works (literally) but we had great success with 1/4 and 3/8 ounce jigs and a variety of plastics including 4 twister tails and paddle tail minnows.
