Minister Ford is going to KILL your Ontario fishing lodge business.
First we all know. HE HATES AMERICANS. His hatred will do you no favors believe me, and he will use every excuse to keep Ontario lodges CLOSED. .
Secondly. what Canadian fishing lodge can remain closed to Americans (arguably 80-90% of the summer revenue) for 2 complete seasons? This year looks like a wash-out coming as well.
The Canadian lodges we all know and love will start dying fast unless some attention is paid to them. A plan could be developed where Americans are allowed in but no restaurants, bars etc are open. Every lodge could be -housekeeping only- and separation could be maintained. There is literally ZERO risk to on water time.
Think folks. your fav lodge is doomed if Ford keeps things bottled up again this summer. and it sure looks like he will.

Went up to Hawk Lake Lodge this year with my boys. It was our first time fishing in Canada. We enjoyed it so much that we're going back next year.

ive done fly-in and drive to/boat to fishing and to be honest they have all been amazing minus one trip. I cant wait for my trip this year
