Located in beautiful Algoma Country in Northern Ontario, Blue Fox Camp has some of the best brook trout fishing in Canada. Brook trout of 6 lbs to 8 lbs are regularly caught. This is all stillwater angling with a fly rod and of course, total catch & release. Host Mark Melnyk gives us a tour of this fantastic facility that is affordable and accessible

Awesome fish, awesome country side also. Been catching monster brookies here in Cape Breton since April 1st, they're the most fun fish to catch, a 21 inch 4. 5 pounder on a spinning rod took almost 20 minutes to reel in, what an awesome fight and also, brook/speckle trout are the best tasting fresh water fish around here. Awesome videos, keep up the great work.

Beautiful lake, beautiful fish and you still can-t get away from your cell phone. To me this is really sad. The cell phone should have been left in your car when you got on the float plane. In today-s society cell phones seem to ruin family dinners and most other gatherings. Now remote brookie fishing. SAD

If I heard the fellow correctly they are stocking the lakes with brook trout and they are not wild fish that would typically be found in the rivers of Labrador that are wild stream bred trout that do compete with other sport fish but still grow to large sizes.

I recently found your episodes and love them. I-m a novice fisherman and use spinning rods but will one day move into fly fishing. I-m from Sudbury Ontario and the fishing is amazing up north!

Very nice and would love catching brookies like that but maybe the host is pushing the weight a bit?

Yeah, well you should just NOT ever go there! Just try LABRADOR, Canada once! One time.
