Tom, do we really need more pressure on our precious finite resources? Do you really want to go to your favorite stream stretch, only to find someone there before you? Do you like to go fishing next to other obnoxious anglers, elbow to elbow? I love everything about fly fishing; from its history, its tradition, to the solitude I find in the beautiful outdoors. The latter is a huge aspect which attracts me to this way of life.
Yes, I-m being selfish but you, in the fly fishing industrial complexe, you-re being greedy and that-s way worse and irresponsible.

look i've wtched a ton of these but they never seem to be able to tell you what you need. im a one year flyer and i have learned when you end you cast and you are letting it fall to the trout i stop higher in the air with the fly down so it hits the water first. it is a killer nobody told me that so i think i took the basics and ran with the ball.

Great Series for beginners and a Excellent host to teach it! I Love Tom, I met him at an Orvis store, he's the nicest guy you could ever imagin. Why Fly Fishing? -you have to forget everything about home, worries about money, life or a full time job- It sez it all. Heres to Tight Lines.

Great video. I've never fly fished before. What do you do after the cast? Let it float? Do you reel it right back in? Slow and steady? Or sporadically? Is the idea that the fish will strike as soon as it hits the surface? Ie. at what point is the cast dead, if ever?

Some people have a really difficult time getting past the perceived learning curve with fly fishing. For 20 years, I-ve been trying to convince my brother that it-s nowhere near as he thinks.

This is cruelty to put a hook on a fish and then let it go again! Why not just eat it! You are wasting fish time and your time! Thank you have a great day!
