i love bill spicer. one of the best hosts a fishing show can have. i share with u if u didnt know this already but a technique myself and a few fishing buddies use we call dances with caddis. you tie your dry fly caddis pattern on a dropper tag. a short one of no more than like 4in. and your point fly is tungsten beaded nymph. the nymph anchors the rig and the tag allows u to lift the rod tip and actually pop the dry fly off the water and allows you to pt tremendous action on the dry. i couldnt tell u how many fish we caught where the trout explode and actually nail the caddis rite i the air. when caddis are on the water give a try it can yield sum of the most exciting trout fishing you will ever have.

That was a great video, beautiful locations, and excellent tips. I fished the Saugeen River 6 years ago while staying with my daughters-in-laws who live in Port Elgin. After her graduation and numerous fishing trips, I returned home to NZ. Certainly miss those friendly Canadians I met on the water. Unfortunately we don't have Bass or Pike downunder but the Trout fishing here is superb.
Kindest thoughts.

The treble hook addition to the fly is a very bad idea. Spent many years catching Stripers and Blues on Cape Cod with plugs, bait, and the last thirty years on flies. Trying to release a fish caught with a treble hook can lead to serious damage to the fish. I love your show and think you need a host with a serious New England accent not just canadian. I nominate myself. Mike

I cherish every memory of fly fishing in Canada. I get up to BC and fish near Castlegar. One beautiful place. And oh, the fishing is fantastic. Rainbows there are on something because they are the strongest, most spectacular fighters of any trout species. Just incredible. Thank you for the entertaining video.

Was wondering what your guys- favorite fishing spot were on the bow river? This will be my second year fishing and the complexity of fly fishing has certainly caught my attention although its rather intimidating. Hoping the whereabouts of good spots might bring some luck this coming season. Thanks! .

Some great fishing here!
Can anyone help me identify the net the guide uses at the side of the boat to net Bills 46 Pike?
I like the fact you have the option of keeping the fish in the water comfortably till time of release.
