In this very special full-length video Colin McKeown fly fishes for massive Lake Trout in super shallow water in Northern Manitoba. It is early September and the Lake Trout come up from the depths in preparation for spawning. This small window is an anglers opportunity to catch & release Lake Trout over 40 inches in water less than 8 feet deep. In fact Colin's biggest fish was in 3-4 feet of water. incredible! We are the guests of The Lodge At Little Duck which is located in the sub-Arctic region of Northern Manitoba. This is a remote & pristine wilderness location of Caribou and Wolves. and incredible shallow water fishing for Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling and Northern Pike. This fishery is PERFECT for fly fishers because the fish are plentiful and in very shallow water! Learn more about this magical destination here: or call David at 1-855-643-3825

Beautiful show. Thank you but get on the reel man! It's driving me nuts watching you strip, strip, strip, all those fish in. Same on other episodes you've hosted. Arrrgggh!

Not to be one of those guys but why are you trying to catch fish during their spawning time? I have always read to leave the fish alone during that time.
