Tom Rosenbauer has traveled to the famous Restigouche River to catch large Atlantic Salmon on a fly. Tom is using both single and two-handed fly rods to swing wet flies and bombers for these large fish. He is the guest of the Restigouche River Lodge which has access to some of the top pools and runs on the river. Lots of great technical information in this video!

So risky to grab the line as a guide. The hook could have came undone anytime and it wouldn't be Tom's mistake. It seems a little careless? Tailing the fish is even better for the condition of the fish. It was quite nerve racking seeing watching that. Nice fish tho!

Wow! How beautiful! Thank you for this Sir. We all hope that soon, we will get the lines out and sort our fly boxes in order to get back out there, where the dreamt prize is laying. Lines over the water.

Great video, but both surprising and disappointing to see Tom fishing in chest waders (from a canoe no less) in a big river without a wading belt.
