Being Mobile With Clam Webb-: Once you are on the lake there is no comparison. The 'Trap is WAY more mobile than a hub. All your gear is in the sled, so you don't have to handle every piece of your gear every time you set up. In windy conditions an Ice Angel anchor off the back corner of the sled is your best friend. Hubs have advantages, but none of them are mobilty. Here's the hubs advantages:
#1. Cheaper
#2. They take up less room in storage and transportation. You can fit a hub and snowmobile or 4 wheeler in the back of a pick up. A machine and a full size 'Trap requires a trailer.
#3. Usually have more room.
#4. They can be used for a camping tent during hunting season.
Everyone has a different situation. Both styles of shelters work. But if it's mobilty we're talking about, a well equipted and thought out 'Trap set up is on a whole different planet than a hub.

You should've shown take down process as well and shown the race between you two taking it down. Then the process of setting it back up again. In my opinion there is no fair comparison. I will only use my hub shack when I'm permanently setup somewhere, or else I don't even bother bringing it with!

No way horse a piece. Maybe if you have a track UTV, but most have ATVs or snowmobiles. Flip definitely has the advantage imo overall for the masses.

Flip over is faster than a hub in every instance. It-s not even a comparison. Hub offers more room generally, but the flip shack is where it-s at.

So you say it-s so windy you-re not sure if you actually want to go fishing but you only put one anchor in the tent? -
