Great job. Flyfishing for Muskie from a kayak has to be very difficult.
I flyfish for them from my Jon boat and that is tough enough.
I have been chasing them with a flyrod for about 40 years and my two tips to you are: very sharp hooks and a good wire leader.
I use Tyger wire, 30lb test on a 9 to 11 wt flyrod. I use streamers, but really have good luck with a big Dahlberg divers and saltwater poppers.
Muskies take lots of frogs and small animals.
Thanks for posting.

Bro I'm watching this video and I'm saying Eat it! Eat it! Eat it! Everything time you had a follow. Then when you hooked up I was legit fist pumping I got my first Tiger muskie on fly last summer in the Tioga river in upstate NY. My number one bucket list fish on fly and I did it in 6 casts 200 yards from my cousins house on a Gunnar Brammer super jerk I tied in a shad pattern. 15 year journey for a musky on fly was finally over. Now I need a Pike on fly lol.

Darcy must be hanging out with a well known Green Bay guide by the looks of his fish pics. Wide angle, straight armed and fingers hidden pics have become the norm and its looks nice but it's super misleading lol
Dude that was an awesome eat! Keep kicking ass man your videos are consistently awesome to watch and there's no BS! Good job dude

Jay, well done on the video. I like your style. Especially not coming off as a know-it-all being as it's your first couple (on the fly. All I have are tigers where I'm at, but watching you blow those eats boatside gave me a good laugh because I still do that all the time after countless fish. again, nice work!

Strip setting will help you connect more for some reason muskies and northern dont get hooked too well on the trout set style hook set. If you strip into them you connect quite a bit more. Works for me at least.

Awesome to see your yak setup. A little tip for next time. speed up that circle (figure 8. Those fish wanna be turned on. Don't pause it. Rip it away from them. You'll see improved results! Great video!

Nice video.
Kinda funny, I was gonna suggest you start your figure 8 closer to the kayak in order to keep your circles bigger then you mentioned it. I guess it's harder to do in a kayak!

Nice work Jay! #itonlycountsonfly; -)
some of your 8s are super tight and I think thats why theyre flaring away. I made the same mistake on my only two good follows this year: -/

The musky/kayak/fly combo is cool but holy crap! I can add the pro-nav to an existing powerdrive motor and get a spot lock! THAT is what got me excited.
