Hey Jay,
All the giveaways aside, you do a lot for people. I've been fishing for years and I learned and I'm sure will continue to learn a lot of worthwhile fishing techniques and fishing etiquette to teach my son. Tanks man, Cheers ( North Bay, Ontario)

Love using small tungsten or leadhead jigs for walleye, get plenty of perch with them and eater size pike, pulled in a 23. 5 girthy female pike with my light rod and 4 pound line about a month back. Not a big pike but fun on a light rod.

Personally I like a gold spoon on a 32 inch rod with some 8pound line and topped with a minnow head but I live in southern Minnesota where we dont get huge walleyes but it does pretty well usually

I love these Q&A videos. I know all about sizing down for walleye. On my last LOTW trip our biggest fish I caught a 28. 75 walleye on a 1/100th oz tungsten and a minnow head.

I sure can use a auger, I spent 40 min trying to get through with dull blades. A nice gentleman brought his auger over to drill some holes. Worst ice day I had in long time

Whoever asked about the the one rod what kinda line to use use 6 or 8 and if you want lighter line tie a 3 4 foot leader of 4 pound or 6 pound if your using 8

Thank you for this. I had my wife and fishing buddy laugh at the nervous minnow when I said it a couple years ago and people thought I was crazy lol
