Why not use a green marker? Wouldn't that blend in better with the water than black? We all know the rule of thumb is to use solid dark colors in stained to dirty water (cause it stands out) and use natural colors like greens and browns in clearer water because they stand out less. So I'm thinking if you wanted to make your line less visible green would be better. Or better yet color it in sections and skip sections like Doug Hannon recommended 30 years ago so the fish can't follow it. same reason camo patterns are not a solid color. Thanks for the video.

You NAILED it down to the bottom, I would do this, actually coppied this technique from to guys that would fallow TERRY OLDHAM from Wimberley, Texas the creator of Oldham screw lock 1. 5oz jigs perfect for thick matts of hydrilla sitting in 30ft water in main lake points and creeks at Lake Amistad back in 99' through 2005. We would nail those pigs out of that grass, just like the ones on my pick

This is a quote from Greg Hackney's latest article from Bassmaster website. I never fish with black. I know they can see it. And, I never fish with white for the same reason. I color my braid either green or red. (Red disappears first as you go deeper and deeper into the water) I think it's more about confidence than anything else. opinions are like buttholes.

I personally love the short tips videos. Especially in the slow season like now. I would suggest you continue with these types of vids man. Dope videos btw dude. I never miss an upload. The sharpie trick is something I always use. A cool way to do it is to use the black Spike It lure dye. Adds scent and strong dye as well. Thanks for the vids bro Keep it up.

Why don't you just use some Seaguar leader? That's what us salt water fishermen use here in Florida so the fish don't see our line and also so it doesn't fray. I always use a leader even when bass fishing because it reassures me that the fish can't see my line and my knot won't slip because generally braid knots aren't as strong.

Hey what's a good pole. I have been looking a while and can't find one. I need a pole 60 or less that won't snap with a 15 pound fish. Anyone know a good one to use? What do you think of this? : Fish KNOW there's line in the water because they feel its action with the nerves of their lateral line. Because of the lure, they ignore the line. Try this experiment: Remember the last billboard that got your attention? What color was the scaffold that held it? Just a thought.

dude I've been fishing alot and know good bit about fishing but this video is off the chart I never knew line colored matter and now that u mentioned using sharpies im have use one on my line that comes into today. Speaking of braided line what the best braided line you've had the most success with?

I've heard of scents effecting fish attraction as well. I am a beginner and learning so please do not take this the wrong way. I've heard WD40 puts a scent out that makes fish stay away. I can smell a sharpie a cross a room, will this effect anything?

Sorry if you've done one already, but could you do something about braided vs mono vs fluoro? I use mono because I fish a lot of panfish but I sometimes do walleye and pike and trying to get into bass so I wanna know what the best would be
