I can't believe you fished Florida and didn't go to Tenoroc. I fish there all the time at least for the last 8 months or so. We are actually tired of catching 5 and 6 pounders. 7s and 8s are pretty common as well. Do some homework about the 23 fish management projects at Tenoroc in Lakeland, Fl. All the lakes are killer. Seriously.

you know what would be a good challenge is old school lures only. like old heddons, or those crazy old lookin lures with metal crankbait lips, and giant painted eyes you see for cheap on ebay. 30 or 40yrs old or older lures
