Im starting a worm farm in the backyard! I need hella worms to feed my fish, chickens and use for dangling in the pond! This worm farm will save me a lot of money down the road! I hope you all enjoy! Mike: just need to add a couple sprinkler heads somewhere on a timer to keep the ground damp, toss some leaves or kitchen scraps there every now and then, you'll have a large worm patch. Worm farm. My whole yard which has too much shade from oak trees, will be full of worms by the end of summer from just mowing grass and summer evening thunder storms. Read somewhere you drive a wooden stake into damp ground and thump on it for a while with a stick and all the worms will crawl to the surface. it works!

I raise worms and your worm farm should work ok but you are going to have a hard time keeping those Canadian Nightcrawlers alive in it, they don't do well in work farms. You need European Nightcrawlers if you want bigger worms in your farm. Most bait stores sell European Nightcrawlers as Jumbo redworms. Regular red wigglers would do the best but they are small. I use shredded cardboard as the base bedding and mix it with coco choir. I have the same shredder you do and it eats up Amazon boxes. The worms like cardboard more than paper.

G'day Flair Loving the big bro they were happy as pig in poo, just a heads up Flair with worm farms. Make sure the worms you got are good for what you need, and if you want them to make baby worm and a poo load at a time. There is better worms to work with, and worm like dark spots and wet not mud but wet if that makes sense bro, you might have to get new black tubs or paint them green, and the dark soil you got make sure the soil is not to acidity. It will kill them quirk.

U need like a black big container because they do not like any light that is why they go in the dirt and at night you will have to put a light over them or they will all crawl away at night u will have to water them every two to three days you are supposed to feed them peat moss that you by at lowes or home depot

To really get your pigs eating feed them slop I have two big hogs a male and female they look better once they eat slop it give them some wet to put they nose in and easier to digest trust me they perform better on wet food than dry food u can even add the dry food to it

Just make sure u have a catchment container underneath ur worm box, they will burrow down. The bottom container will catch any escapees and just put them back in the top.

For the next pond feeding video give the fish 24 hours without fish to feed on and then when you feed em just throw in a few at a time to see the blow ups
