Lol no bro. U only worry about ratio when setting slabs or using it for anything other then as a weight practically lol. When i did satellite i would pour 2, 50 lbs of concrete into a hole with like 2 or gallons or water in the hole and then add some on top mix and add water. Remember when u add to much water all it does it practically make your concrete take longer to set and be hard. The excess water always drains it self and it hardens that way. To much water in concrete may cause cracks as moisture is trapped in cement and has to find a way to escape if it doesn't generally and kind of weight applied will have the the water bubble break. So cement used as weights or to hold a pole center no you would have to pull a Perry and just put as much liquid as the amount that comes out of his eyes after every girl breaks up with him after the first night in bed. Hahaha

Probably should have thru-bolted the PVC to the bucket or at the very least scuffed-up the outside of the PVC to adhere to the concrete better. over time the PVC could dislodge from the concrete and float right out of the bucket. You also could have screwed some self tapping stainless screws into the bottom portion of the PVC to make sure that the PVC cannot dislodge from the concrete. Another thing to consider, I wouldn't position the bucket on a steep drop if you want it to stand upright as it could tip over. Although it would be cool if you could get it to sit at an angle on a steep drop. Like you mentioned in the video it's trial and error at first.

Why not just go on CL and search for old artificial Christmas trees people are getting rid of or selling super cheap. 2 years ago I got 4 trees for a total of 30. I broke all the limbs down off the trunks and zip tied them to my ladder stands to break up the squareness of the ladder and platform. I also made a ground blind using the artificial limbs, wire fence and T posts. Works great for my application and Ive had deer within 10 feet of me while I was in the blind. I think theyd work great for your purpose too. Just take the whole tree, weight it down and toss it in. Should last a long time

Before putting in the concrete place a couple bolts in the white tile pipe below the level of the concrete. This will help keep the concrete attached to the tile. You can also run a few screws thru the bucket side to accomplish keeping the concrete in the bucket. I have seen where the concrete has broke free of the pipe and let it float to the surface. Put your christmas tree in the bucket and put the concrete in the bucket dry, tap the concrete to pack it in the pour the water over the top until it stops soaking in and it will set and hold everything in place.

I have an idea. What if you take 3 of the same cups and on a small piece of paper with different amounts of money like 5 20 40. Let the other person your fishing with put the papers under the cups in which ever order they desire and you leave the room while doing so than you come back and pick a cup. Same with the next person. I've been watcjing for Bout a month and already a HUGE fan. I know of some ponds here in South Africa where the people took old car tyres and attached like 4 of them together and just droped that in for structures a d the bass love it. Especially if you say your bottom is not flat the tyres will be awesome because it doesnt need to stand up strait it can lay down and still work awesomely

Great idea over all on the Bush but idea for you is put the branches arching up. Then you won't get hung on it at all. Also a long stiffer cross tee at the top in case it ever gets pulled over on its side half of it won't desapear. Also get a smaller branch pvc and it will make drilling a little bit easier.

You can also use a lighter weight pipe, such as sewer & drain tile, or even sdr35. both are cheaper than sch. 40 and lighter to boot. fittings are also significantly cheaper. Also, ADS pipe comes in MANY different sizes, could buy one 10 length and section it off to make several hollow logs.

I know this is an older video but on your tree its better to put your branches where they are angled up that way if u snag it while fishing the bait will slide up and off of it, also if a fish wraps you up on it, then your line is more likely to slide up and off of it.

Personally, i would have put an aluminum bar through the bottom of the Brute Bush when i sank it into the concrete. Im no expert, but that thing looks like its begging to float. The bar might keep it intact with the concrete. Or even a couple open big holes might do the trick
