I've had pretty good luck with those hooks that are supposed to turn with pressure. They only thing I do is pinch that barb down while catfishing it makes pulling the hook out alot easier and I haven't lost a fish yet. I've even hooked gar in the mouth with them.

Flair if you get strawberry jello chicken breast or pork cuttlets and minced garlic and a little water. You can then mix them all and let it sit out in through heat for a day and fosh with that you will catch cats.
