Building a GIANT 2 ACRE POND in My BACKYARD! (Part 5) JR87: If you're wanting your fish to spawn, you'll want to drop some substrate in. Luckily you can do this with gravel even if the pond is full. Without substrate the eggs will land in mud and silt, and be suffocated. Likely won't have enough hatch to actually do much more than add a handful of meals for the bigger fish.

flair I would shoot the biggest body with smallest rack. Aka the oldest possible with a weaker rack. that way you manage your property but you can still eat decent from the buck. I get you wanna eat pretty good for the winter but you can make a lot of things out of a not so big body deer! Hope this helps

If you haven t shot a buck I would shoot anything with horns for your first 2 years but it is all up to you
If you are looking for a big buck to shoot I would shoot any of those 8s or bigger or if it s outside the ears it s a shooter
Like so fair can see

Take the biggest one. The cold weather has kicked off the rut and that's why the big bucks don't care and why they're out in the middle of the day. I'd get in a blind around noon and sit until dark. Y'all bag and tag him!

I bet if you asked them to fish some of their ponds you would find out how good they are. And no, I don't work for them. Just a big fan of yours and want to see the best for you.

put just bluegill or shad that way next spring when you put bass they have something to eat it won't be very cool but other wise the pond will never be very good I'm a pond specialist

Just make that lake with that huge 16 ft blue gill pond. When summer comes and you stock it with bass it will be a great start to you bass with a buffet de la blu ill.

PIKE! Go with pike and you can feed the bass to them and get them huge. And with it being lower you shouldn't have to worry about the pike getting into the bass pond.
