Well, at 5: 56, I can tell why you had a hard time. The thing seems to be a reservoir. If you don't know the specific spots for these, they generally are a waste of time. We got one in Quebec, Lac Taureau, and it's pretty shitty unless you know exactly where to go.

its weird that i know the exact spot where you were fishing. good spot for crappie and very small bass but not good for decent size bass. your best bet in winter on douglas is to throw very deep water crank baits.

During ice fishing, I had a 5. 5 pound bass on my line. When my reel froze. The spool literally froze. I had to use a lighter to melt it. I eventually got the bass in though.

Don't feel bad at my oakly tournament in october every practice day the fish were in 3 foot of water and the first day of the tournament the bass were in 35 feet of water

I saw your truck at the boat ramp, man was it crazy cold. I have a cabin about 10 miles southeast of there and it snowed twice that week! Great video!
