Too bad your friend didn't get a fair and square hookset in the mouth, that would have been a much better fight. A smallie that big around here in fresh, cool water will bend your medium-heavy real good.

Depends on current but a lot of the same baits we talk about in my videos. It's more about putting your lure around the ambush points where the currents breaks. Underwater rocks, eddies and such

Justin you should try evergreen lake in Quincy Wahington if you like small mouth and large mouth you will love this and there is muskie and walleye. I think you should try it man its great.

Guys the smallies are easy to tell from the eye color and the bigger ones are easy to tell from their energy/fight. Wish I was there, keep fishin'!
