Enjoy your videos! I'm going bass fishing for the first time. How long should the leader be? and maybe a dumb question, but main line goes on a swivel then leader from the swivel for Texas Rig? Also, all I have is a medium action Ugly Stick GX2 with the spinner real it came with. You think I could catch some bass with that? Thanks LakeForkGuy

Good video LFG! I agree, it's time to get pumped and get out there and catch some bass. This is also one of my favorite lakes to fish on and it's good to see the bite is starting to turn on. Me and a buddy were actually there last weekend and put together a 15. 8 lb limit.

Was fishing here in az saw a male and female getting a bed going female wouldnt bite anything or even look the male was chasing all my lures but wouldnt bite even if i dropped it in where they were bedding nothing but got him on a worm but not female

Videos like this really make me miss fishing use to get out almost every weekend and wet a line. Had all my gear stolen from the back of my brothers truck made me lose motivation maybe ill pick it back up soon. Thanks for the vid!

Forget everyone else who thinks you need to keep up with the times in the gear category. If it ain't broke don't fix it, and if it works keep doin' it! IMO it feels better to own what you have both mentally and financially!

Sometimes i cant believe how different texas is from new mexico, just being one state over. Its near impossible to catch a bass here in NM at this time of year.

there is NOTHING wrong with ol red, i dont think you need to get a new boat, you have had ol red for ssooooooo long, you know her like the back of your hand!
