Bro I'm confused at 3: 30 you said the whopper plopper is a horrible bait, don't buy that bait then at 10: 30 you said I throw the whopper plopper! The River2sea whopper plopper is a revolutionary bait the fish in the lake see the same baits all year long all the old timers say try something different, pros love the whopper plopper, youtube has thousands of videos. You shouldn't be partial to one lure or one type I understand we are all entitled to our opinions but can you make a video with an open minded approach?

I usually rig new buzz baits up to a stand of sorts with a rubber band or tape etc and place in front of a fan for a few hours. This breaks them in and really gives them a unique sound.
Ive even secured them to the antenna on my truck with the same results.
Black is really the only color I use.

Something to try with buzzbait trailer hook. instead of putting shrink tubing over the hook eye, put the hook on plain and use a small plastic shad as a keeper, on the main hook. It also will keep trailer hook weedless. Specifically the 2 Mister Twister Sassy Shad, nose hooked.

I love buzzbaits. But it seems the only fish I catch with them are these damn pikes. Got any tips on how to not catch northern and start catching bass with them instead? The pikes just gobble them up all day long in southern Wisconsin.

Might be a little late on this, but would love to see more in depth technique type videos! For example, a Texas rigged worm, do you bump it off the bottom, take long stride making swim, etc! I think that would be awesome.

50% the time it retrieves like its suppose too. The other half the time it stops buzzing like 5 or 6 cranks in and starts going to the left a bit and stops buzzing and sort of sinks or something.
