LFG, first, congratulations on your recovery and your new family addition. Thats certainly a couple of blessings in your life. I say that as a father of 5 amazing kids! Second, GCR is an awesome place to catch giant bass when the water is clean. Third, if you know the secret to Limestone, do you mind messaging me and letting me in on it? I have an aunt and uncle that live on the lake so Ive spent countless hours trying to catch decent bass and havent succeeded in 10 years now! Tight lines.

Thus video is over 2 years old now but I just saw it. Thats the lake I grew up on and you actually passed by the road I lived on in the video coming from the first lake you went to, great lake I've caught several bass over 7 on. I can always show you some spots if your ever down this way again

Love spinner baits. I was tossing one u alongside docks and had scored a half dozen nice smallies. Next cast a 5 pound northern pike smashed it and cleared the water by 3 feet. Kid swimming on the other side of the dock walked on water getting out of the lake when he saw that northern pike!

This would be a killer technique for crappie on the bed. I used to fish docks that way with my pop, but we were confined to the boat or we would get out on the dock, which is legal here, and fish the edge all around.

At Lake Travis there is plenty of good fishing from the OUTSIDE of the dock. but hey. more power to those with the guts! Snakes love docks LOL!
