Old Technique Always Catches Big Bass

Fishing for bass in winter and early spring has it's challenges but there are a handful of techniques that always produce big bass for me every year. One of those is lipless crankbait fishing. Fishing in the grass or rocks when bass start to move into flats, points, and pre spawn areas, the lipless crankbait covers lots of water and is LOUD! Early is the year I like loud baits when bass are less pressured. It's an easy lure to use and just catches BIG ones

Oh yes I remember fishing before class when I was. gosh 9/10/11 years old. Did anything for the dangle including digging up my own bait. I was fortunate enough to grow up in the country, so before and after school back in the 90s and early 2000s. I am 34 years old so back then at 9, 10, 11, 12 years of age you didn't need no babysitter you just went out to the woods or the nearest pond\Lake in your area and shot squirrels or fish. The Only Rule I had as a kid is be home before dark. It's sad that I know if I had kids these days I wouldn't let them do that kind of thing so young. Proud to be a 80s baby.

So I m fairly new to bass fishing within the past couple years and I have to travel for bass. Have you ever done a video on what types of lures to use during different times of year? Love your stuff man, bass fishing has got me addicted lol

I m a huge fan of old school techniques. Being up north we mainly focus on trout and salmon but it s the same kind of thing. Everyone loves the new fancy lures and techniques but the old school guys work just as well if not better most times

LFG in your last video you were talking about closing in the back of your truck when you are camping. Check out something like Nomad Camper Packages. It looks like a perfect solution for those nights when you are sleeping with the fishes.

Man Justin I don't know how you do it I've fished that lake a few times and I've never had much success. I'm not gonna say the name but for a lake that's close to home thanks for some new techniques and insight to this lake.

It's in the low 20s in Texas right now (at least north Texas. Been this way for several days and we've getting ready for teens and single digits lows soon. What ever fish were thinking about moving up have changed their minds.

Lipless cranks can be deadly, I used to use them for bass growing up in Florida. I use them pretty effectively vertically for Zander now that I m living in Germany. Planning on making a similar video when the weather warms up

Hey bro, usually if you hit one of the side buttons on the gas pump it will mute the commercials. You may have to hit several to find which one. Hope that helps lessen the annoyance of traveling!

can't imagine what a trip would be like if you took one of your chickens on a fishing trip. other than what other anglers asking what lure did you use to catch that 7 pounder.
