Shoreline Catfishing with HAIRY Stink Bait

You can contest 80lb braid being a waste. When the weak point is the less than 30lb knot in the flouro. But i fish the concrete and rebar embankments of a fairly mighty river. The sinker is what gets caught(main reason i use a flat round sinker) that is the point of the 80lb braid. Thanks so much good luck fishing.

You're like a fifteen year old topwater fishing bass, Justin. want to set the hook too early! Got to give the cats a chance to start swallowying it first. And use at least 20 lb mono if you're going straight mono. Some of my favorite fishing of all time was in European lakes for the big long Wels catfish. Talk about fighters! Shew buddy! We used to enter all night tournaments for them. My largest was 5 and a half feet long and 65 lbs. Took me over an hour to land him. I've seen them well over 6 feet in length. My buddy had one wallowing around his backyard for three days before it died. It was delicious! That is catfishing! But yeh. give them time to start a swallowing process. you'll bring home a lot more.

Ive found that a pear shaped lead with a swifel holds bottom better and also tangles less. (so u need less weight and get less tangles. big eel fisherman (also try going for some eels with worms and salt/smoke them with some oak. its soo good. ive been test fishing this week. looking like eel season is round the door.

The way you demonstrated to hold them is correct kinda. Your allowing them to get you with all 3 once you toss them back. Try wrapping your hand around the belly, one pectoral between your pointer and middle finger, and your thumb below the other pectoral.

Not going to have to fight with you like i did with luke from catfish and carp too? About the bacteria that they carry and it will feel like numming and a sting combined. If uncleaned wwill turn septic. Can also cause rash, intense burning and/or itching.

I know you were using Danny King's punch bait if you watch his videos you're not supposed to use nothing but a treble hook it'll lump up on her and it'll stay on I've used it before if you don't use the sponge you won't lose all them fish

Next time you try catfishing try a j hook or a circle hook I have way better catch ratio with them. And also try and use fresh cut bait and I bet you will catch more fish on them and I normally don't use less than 20 lb mono

I've catfished all my life and I couldn't watch everything that was going on in the video because I couldn't stop staring at the tips of your poles waiting for a bite. Lol. Great video! Keep up the great work!

Tried Danny s, it s ok it caught some. But came to find secret 7 works great to catch a good many eaters and it s not as nasty as Danny s but it s still a stink just peanut butter texture
