There was a mega bass caught last night in the Metroplex. Sharelunker came from Athens to get her. 14 + in the boat. It's probably going to be classified as a legacy sharelunker. When I heard I went down to the doc to see for myself it will be the fourth or fifth 12 lb plus fish caught out of that Lake in the past 3 years. Check your socials. I'm not going to say where it was. It's bad enough place is going to be crawling for the next two weeks. It was a lake that was talked about when the conversation of having a Meetup came up year and a half ago or so.

I love fishing that lake. Spent days out there without a single strike. Talked to a guy who fishes it all the time to learn what those fish like. They're not like the bass at the east Texas lakes.

Throwing round bends on a lipless = shooting yourself in the foot.
Gamakatsu EWGs and they wont keep throwing the bait. Lipless just get thrown way too easily to use a round bend hook on them.

Your at a power plant lake and the plant is running you should have at the least 65 degree water if route any were close to the discharge
