This a trash fish catch and cook I've been wanting to take on for a long time! The ladyfish is almost never taken home as table fare and generally used as bait. The reason is these fish have very soft mushy flesh and have tons of bones.
Filleting them is near impossible, so the best way to process them is to scoop the meat off with a spoon and make it into fish paste, fish balls, fish fritters etc. I show you two delicious ways to eat this fish, the first is ladyfish fish fritters and the second is fish ball soup! Remember theres no such thing as trash fish, just trash cooks!
