The UK has the blandest food EVER! because the silly royals enjoyed spices when they were too exclusive for poor ppl to afford, then when poor ppl could afford spices, the silly royals decided that they didn't like them anymore. They came up with a silly story about the quality of the product and how spices would cover up the great flavor. Now they all think they are royalty eating grocery store food with no spices!

Those snapper you guys thought were vermilion snapper are actually called pargo Seda in spanish (i forgot the name in English) Also with roosters, once you raise one you want to start popping it super fast also reeling as fast as you can with some pops as you re reeling. The faster the better. Also with cuberas the slower the better but not too slow. Idk if you re back from Panama or not but I hope this helps: )

He was telling you something along the lines of Three different cubera came up from the bottom and you guys are popping little by little but they just didn't get hooked so the cubera stays there today. . so pretty much exactly what you thought he was saying, only nicer lmao. I'm only half cuban and far from fluent so I caught about 50% of it

My friends in Nicaragua run a charter boat for a guy that has a landing boat, wheels come down and it can drive right up onto the beach to pick ppl up and then run them to the boat. It is fun to log roll the panga into the water, and then park the thing too. First time I was on a panga that careened into the beach was pretty crazy

awesome video Victor! Those tuna rolls look amazing! def. got to try out that recipe! Panama is an amazing fishery and you nailed it- long slow days of fishing but the fish you do catch are the fish of a lifetime. We had a blast fishing there this past year!

17: 20 Three cubera big. One attacked the popper and took it for about a meter, down, we had to set hook a bit, he let himself go, and he was gone. He bit the popper in the head and he was done and gone. Haha. I can translate Spanish for you anytime Vic.

Also the best poppers I ve used for roosters are the bigger 3D yozuri poppers and their new mag poppers because you can rip em fast and they also make a good pop and splash when you work them to do so.
