hi i am from Trinidad, my husband and i love your show. he loves fishing just like you, loves to catch and cook. And we think you you have a caribbean personality. you cook like us lolzz. and we just love your jolly personality, but you have to come to trinidad to do some fishing and go to the rivers where you can enjoy nature and some nice organic food. but if you want to come to Trinidad you can let us know through email.

I never bothered with traps. lots of expense with little reward. we always go get A case of frozen chicken necks, A roll of twine, A long handle net and A low bridge. 4 or 5 hours later we usually have A bushel or more. Load em in the steamer live with pepper/old bay/vinegar/beer (1 for the pot-11 for me) corn/sausage and taters. Now that's A party.

48 hours may be too long of a soak. It may be giving the crabs too long to find their way back out of the trap. You should tie a GoPro to an experimental trap to see how long it takes a trap to reach full capacity of crabs. Just an idea!

settling for old bay. As a marylander born and raised. I'm a little insulted Rob!
I'll forgive you though. Cause you're awesome.
But don't hate on the old bay! It's the best seafood seasoning!

Maybe why yellow is better crabs can see them better. You said crabs like structures? Black is harder to see? What do you think?
