That was like when I took my family to visit my father's home island of Camiguin, PI, but even more remote. The multiple uses of coconuts, fresh fish, and incredible hospitality is all the same.
Was it just me, or did anyone else get heebeejeebees watching them trek through the jungle with a metal detector, and worry about WWII vintage unexploded ordnance?

Great videos. I've always had trouble sharpening knives. I haven't been keeping and cleaning fish. I want to start back eating what I catch. I have a place at lake Texoma. Plenty of stripers!

I sailed to Pagan Island in 1977. Stayed a week. There Was a fresh water lake with natural hot springs pool back then. A thriving village of about 60 locals. The 1981 volcano eruption changed the island a lot. Still magic, special place.
