In this episode, Joseph Harrick and I are heading far out onto Lake Erie in Ohio with Mark Dietrich of Tri-Fin Charters to chase BIG walleye to take home for dinner. We're fishing for them two ways, both trolling and casting, and are learning a ton about Lake Erie fishing along the way. Then, back in my RV, I'm showing you a quick, easy and DELICIOUS recipe you can use for any fish. Nate: Nice Show. Like you, Iam kinda new to Lake Erie. I started about 4 years ago, and since I have learned to fish the lake now Im completely spoiled. I have never had anything like this in fresh water before in my life (53 years old. I fish just like you guys did in this show. Im hooked on Erie!

All my life growing up people have told me about all kinds of trash fish. Tullibee (Cisco, Eelpout, sheepshead, rock bass, etc and I believed it. Lately I have been purposefully targeting stuff like that to try and make edible. Tullibee is a member of the salmon family. So you cut out the pin bones and remove the blood line on the back of the fillet and it fries up just like a panfish. I threw back a sheepshead a few weeks ago and I'm kicking myself because I bet that would make some killer tacos if prepared correctly.

Late to watch, but work has been nuts. This was a fun video, and that cooking style is great. I'll do that with omlettes a lot: clear out my leftover fresh stuff and throw it in there. It's ended up pretty good, most times. The best was sliced turkey, a little chorizo, spinach, some peppers, mushrooms, and about 3 different kinds of cheese. I'll be incorporating this idea for sure. Thanks as always for your great videos.

Oh and i just went out on the ocean for some saltwater fishing for my first time ever today and caught a few blue fin tuna. Couldnt believe how much it tastes like steak! My mind is blown.

Lake erie. Last week i caught a 8. 68 pound walleye 29 1/2 inches. And a 7. 0 pound walleye 28 1/2 inches on the same color spoon. I used a dark blue stinger spoon. The blue is a REALLY big recommend if you wanna destroy some nice walleye this year. Also we bought 6 after i caught the 8 pounder and lost 3

Fish 'em out of your YAK too! Just caught a beauty, 26, in 15 feet of water. Walleye are everywhere this year. Deep, shallow, schooling, on their own, everywhere! 13 years fishing the shore area in my YAK, Walleye in the last 2 years have been great.

Drum are a member of the croaker family and I consider them trash fish. I have heard that you need to go deeper if you are catching drum, they run a little higher in the water column with silver bass and others.
