We're taking my girlfriend to one of the prettiest and fishiest places in Texas for her birthday: the Brazos River below Possum Kingdom. We're showing you how to catch multiple species of fish (largemouth and smallmouth bass, striper and more) in any shallow river system and having lots of laughs along the way. Patrick: Please inform Max about strainers and their danger in moving water. That tree was not a danger, but one lower in fast moving water can be very bad. If you end up in one, the best thing to do is lean into it, keeping the bottom of the kayak facing into the direction of water. If you lean away from it, you will get rolled and potentially trapped against branches underwater by the force of the water. No bueno.

This that same river you did a camping trip video series of a few years ago? With a few other guys that had previously been stranded by flash flood. It had some rapids you guys had to go through. Or was that the Bezos River? Those were some of my favorite videos of yours. This river looks awesome though. Super nice n peaceful.

Max Skills is already treating the ladies right. Happy birthday Belle. Nice nimble kayaks are a great price point at 1300. A rig was a surprise lol. Great video, thanks buddy.

Awesome little boat and a fun day out fishing. I'm taking my Kick 106 to the Ocean/Bay in the near future. Looking forward for part 2 of this video

I'm considering selling my kayak I have now for a pedal yak but I'm not sure if it would be worth it on the shallow flates with the oysterbars
