Was just up in Lake Placid, NY for a camping trip, of course I did some fishing up there. I tied on a frog imitation soft bait weightless in crystal clear water, saw this smallmouth chasing it, about 2 feet in front of me I can see him so close to the bait he's almost touching it. Twitch BOOM So satisfying, doesn't get much better than that

Love seeing you fishing Erie for bass! Fun that you're actually in a spot with a bunch of large mouth. Too bad you can't come to the Canuck side for some smallies, would be fun to show you around Morgan's Point outside of Port Colborne. Tight lines!

You should come out to the northeast this summer and hit the Striped bass and Bluefish runs in late summer off shore the LI sound. Maybe even hit some of the early fall pike or muskie fishing?
