Cutting into a secret amazon lake for giant fish -- (amazonas episode 2) Tally: Scott, I love fishing for food, and money. You love to catch & release, never could understand your kind of fishing. We would put 500 lbs of Yellowtail on the boat in a 2 to 3 hour bite, do that for about 5 days then come in and sell the fish. We got paid to do what many pay thousands to do when they came to the keys. But then, both of us figured out how to make money, doing what we like to do.

What a great video! Thanks for sharing this experience and really capturing great details! Also, your suggestions about the 15hp motors, I would think a surface drive or even a long tail mud motor would benefit those guys tremendously! I have a 45hp long tail on my fishing/duck hunting boat and I absolutely love it. Makes getting through shallow water and over logs a dream

The peacocks with the spots and the one's with the bars are actually the same species. They change during their mating times. They don't have an actual mating season. If you look closely at a barred one you can see faint spots, and visa versa. I have been in the Amazon several times with fly rods. It is my true addiction fish.

So happy to see Hillary felt better enough to go out fishing for a while. And she was even able to catch some Peacock Bass bigger than in the canals of South Florida! Woohoo! Lol Memories of a lifetime, and I'm sure that trip will be made a number of times, but the first is always best. Love ya'll

Scott, I am now officially jealous of you. It wasn't the life time of fishing I wanted to but joined the Army instead. It was that peacock bass that did it, that thing was awesome.
