I have been trying to learn programming for a number of years now . I am curious to know what the most productive things that I can do to learn python . I am not exactly a beginner I know a good amount of stuff however putting it together makes little sense to me , I am also having a tough time with indenting , strings and using alternate libraries . I have some books teaching me exactly how to right particular programs . There are a few problems with that I am not sure exactly what is in that library however I guess I could probably just go into that library and see what is in it . One of the books that I have teaches pygame zero and another book teaches tkinter and yet another book teaches the main library . My learning disability makes learning programming way difficult and with no real support group I am on my own as far as learning goes . I have talked to people about programming before and they are usually nice about sharing information but it is usually incomplete information or they do not want to talk about it at all or their attitude is that they are not going to hold your hand through the whole learning process but things like this take hard work so I am just going to put it more effort . could you explain to me the difference between programming and object oriented programming . If I am correct any app that you write is going to use object oriented programming and I guess business is done in regular programming and if that is the case why would you write it in computer code and not just write it down ? I am guessing the answer to that would be encryption .

Just beat this little piece of metal? It is not just little peace of metal - CPU/hardware, it is one of the greatest human kind inventions. If you are a programmer you must appreciate, learn hardware/network/storage and be thankful for the other great mind tremendous achievements which makes your program -just- work. It is too often programmers don't even notice or think about hardware, network and storage - the results will not be great in this case.

This was such a great lecture, my short attention span doesn't allow me to fully watch these things but his explanations and funny humour kept me engaged all the way through. I'm an aspiring developer who faces imposter syndrome every single time I do it. I watch things like these to help me in anyway possible, genuinely loved this

I've been a software developer for a year and a half now. I watched this lecture to see where I really am on this path. It was a great lecture, thank you so much. I really struggled learning programming but after trying and trying and trying again, I finally made it. And that imposter syndrome, I live with it everyday :D

This is me on 13/02/22. Hoping to graduate and become a developer one day with little to no knowledge of coding , development and all the math needed for it. I will return here 4 years later and give an update on where i am! Peace

I agree with most--- things in this video EXCEPT for a backend language to start with so kindly, switch out Ruby for Python (Django backend). I'm sure he himself would agree his advisory of Ruby did not age well haha.

Having a job in tech is pure discipline. If you-re not ready to keep learning then this field is NOT for you. Programming and designing are just two SMALL facets of thriving in this journey. Ready up. Smarten up.

-... you dont need computer science degree...- When it comes to finding a job, might be true for US, but i believe this is not the case in many countries. Great presentation by the way. Thank you.

An important ste p is to realize wether you are one of those persons that just get hired right away, regardless of you qualifications. Do you inspire confidence in others? Do they trust you?
