Hi, I am a non-techi so I don-t understand much. I have a situation. I ordered a web creator to creat a website for me, his job is almost done he just have to upload it into a sever and he is done with my order. I also have a friend who is also into IT he said that in addition to thing that the web creator has to upload my website into a server I also have to ask the web designer to give me the code, is my friend explain to me that if later I want to update some functions, first the changes with be done to the source code then it will be uploaded into the server. I asked the web creator to give me the source code of the website as well but he said their is no need for him to give me the source code because the code already will be in the server therefore if I want to modify it I can do it in the server itself. I am kind of confused and dot know what to do, could anyone who understand this matter tell me what should I do. Thanks in advance.

help needed, it said a syntax error about the 'await' at line 16 is outside function. i dont know how to fix it because i've typed exactly like the vid. i dont know where to look...
edit: i retyped the code, pressed the run button, it ends with resolving dependencies and the run button only lasts for 2 secs. bot didnt work in discord..

well i would rather not have my github repo public because people that find it could easily attach my bot's token to a server nuker which would mean over 400 servers would be destroyed. this is a clever trick though but it doesnt have any security

You don't even need the cloud for hosting, as discord acts as a proxy so you could leave an old computer running forever. Not to mention that it isn't resource intensive either so you could run like 100 of them

Replit rlly isnt a great choice for this, dont use it. Either get a paid server for like a dollar a month or run the bot on an old laptop. Cannot tell you how much frustration that-ll save you lol

The bot worked perfectly for 4 hours but then it turned itself off and when I opened the replit script it was all broken and I couldn't recover the replit py file so

ive almost finished and noticed that, keep_alive doesnt work anymore so people who are having problems with that, keep_alive aint alive anymore

I strongly advice hosting your bot in a paid VPS, because you'll start getting rate limited the more servers your bot gets invited in.

The API didnt work for some reason so i just made a random couple quotes and added them to a list and returned them instead-
