looks like their website is still taking orders. What a scummy sociopath of a CEO, hoping to launch himself as a public figure on the backs of employees he fired from his failing company. Maybe he thought he could save the company, but it looks more like he never really did any work and was just trying to continue to survive not doing any work. I bet his intention was to keep giving away PCs from stock, even if they were already technically sold, hoping somehow streaming on twitch would sustain an entire company of 50, what a joke. He seems to suffer from Unimpressive Narcissist Syndrome, where a sociopath tries to get notoriety for basically doing nothing, no matter how many people they have to destroy, because they refuse to do an honest days work. The Unimpressive Narcissist is one of the most dangerous people out there. Beware trusting people who seem charming and trustworthy too easily and too soon. If you are immediately infatuated by someone you know nothing about, you are not safe. Any analysis of this company would have almost certainly scared off any investor, especially since it looks like a lot of fraud was happening.

Just another privileged dude taking success for granted, acting as if he is responsible for crafting it and wasn't just lucky, acting as if other people in leadership and all the way down to system builders and the like aren't the real reason the organization thrived, running around and living out his D-list internet celebrity fanboy fantasies. The moment a hiccup appears, which was bound to happen sooner or later, the fail cascade that had been building for years just let loose into an avalanche of poor decisions and revealing of past poor decisions and prioritization.
This person never took seriously the livelihoods of the people depending on him, nor the customers paying for his products. While I am certain a healthy number of decent people worked there, the CEO wasn't one of them, and that attitude dictates the entire culture of the organization. Good riddance. I sincerely hope the folks relying on this spoiled child for livelihood find better positions with organizations that respect them as people.

I know it was probably a bad decision looking back at it now. But I bought a PC from them before all this happened. It was built and everything ready to ship! All they had to do was put it in the mail. Now I hear they shut down... I haven't received my PC. It's just sitting in a box I guess. We work real hard for what we have with my 12 hour shifts and the kids going to school and my wife doing the hardest job and taking care of everything! and this was our reward for all of that! so I got our first PC for my family and more importantly MY kids! This is disgusting and disappointing. And one of the guys that built my PC came out and told me that he's not even sure we will get REFUNDS! ugh makes me sick. And I'm not so excited to sit my kids down after they were all excited and tell them hey kids I know you guys were excited about the new computer I promised, I was too. I'm really sorry but that won't happen. They will are are going to be crushed. Sucks. Father of the year I will be

Important note: If you need to go through the charge back system for a refund. DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT AT ALL call the transactions fraudulent. Your charge back needs to be written with this information:
- The EXACT description of what was ordered (yes get pedantic)
- The date that you were most recently aware that you would have gotten the merchandise if the company did not go under
- the date the company shut down and was no longer able to give you your merchandise
- and the most recent date that you attempted to contact them to resolve the issue - even if they don't respond! They need record for both Visa and MasterCard that an attempt was made.
If you call the charges fraud, some banks will take you at face value of it being fraudulent and will deny the claim as you initiated the charge.
Please get your chargebacks sent in as soon as physically possible. The sooner you get the chargeback in, the better your chances of getting your funds back.

I ve got to say that I absolutely love how GN has been taking the next step to support tech consumers, of course their actions with NewEgg being the most visible. Great Job to everyone involved, and I ve got to say, I ve long been impressed by your actions & behaviors, but recently you ve gone above and beyond anything I would have ever expected!
Honestly, considering how insane social media has become, it s truly amazing that this company lasted as long as it has with it s CEO speaking on camera, off the cuff for several hours per week (at least as I understand it they streamed at least weekly.) I mean think about how many people and companies have been targeted and/or destroyed due to the most innocent of statements, comments or even minor mispronunciations.
I mean sure, it s not a huge company, so his gaffes likely had very limited reach, but that could also means that any backlash could be far more damaging.

Steve, I just realized this. Raffles, give away, and other such prize related promotions are regulated by either the FTC and/or the IRS. Artesian Builds might be in legal hot water for 1. Not reporting raffle build winners (PCs have monetary value) and 2. changing the rules mid giveaway without informing the participants first. It would be as if the Powerball or the Megamillions lottery changed ball sets (number of balls) right before or during a drawing, You can't do that legally. And states where these promotions are running will also have rules as well. I suspect that the legal and financial ramifications of this might have caught up to them, and shuttering the company may be their attempt at avoiding those obligations. They probably flew under the radar because of their size, but when this story blew up, it probably drew attention of state and/or federal regulators. Oops.

Very early in the video I formed the opinion that the CEO was a former rich kid of instagram that potentially never had an original idea of his own and doesn't actually know what work is because he has never worked AND he has never had to suffer any consequences for his actions and negatives impacts he caused other people was their fault for trusting him (I have actually seen people make this arguement.). Then the COO was mentioned and I figured this was a college buddy that was into computers and the CEO glombed onto this hobby and provided startup funding thru his parents. At the end, mainly because of the emails, I've come to the conclusion that the CEO is a con-artist and would have tried to con Steve had they actually met in person. In the end the CEO should probably be in jail with pharma-bro Martin Shkreli and Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes.

I think what was sussed out of this whole ordeal is the type of person who ends up ceo is, generally, this type of person. I understand that isn t a kind thing to say, but American psycho sort of hit a nail on its head, if you follow. Smiling gladhands, a lack of empathy, and deep personal narcissism are pre-qualifiers, not dis-qualifiers for the job of ceo That guy probably got plenty of lucrative colab s and contracts with that exact behavior you pointed out (correctly) as inappropriate. Internet fame has a lot of cash behind it

Noah sounds like he has narcissistic personality disorder, based on how cheaply he threw away 50 people's livelihood, then 100% turns around and makes this about him, his feeling, his hurt, his victimhood, etc. I don't think you would get a productive interview out of Noah, as any attention - even damning and self-incriminating attention - will reward his ego. The biggest tool you have to send a message to Noah, which you did towards the end of the video, is say You're not interesting to me.

I haven't followed this story closely but seeing it pop up almost EVERYWHERE got me curious. The guy is a psycho (and not the good Tom Segura kind) - you can tell even from the few clips included here that he's in it for something else than his customers. I say good riddance, go live out your delusions of grandeur somewhere else...
Not sure how I could help people from Central Europe but if there's anything.
