This is so cool to see this stuff. I live in Youngstown, Ohio, United States and my town before I was even born was know for making steel from these huge steel mills all across our main local river, since they didn't have the same system as described in the video I just watched, that river is the most polluted river EVER! It would probably take billions. if not TRILLIONS of dollars to get it clean again. One thing I don't understand is if they area at one point made so much money from these types of Mills then why couldn't they invest in filtration systems like this I just saw? It's not fair that I live in an area that doesn't have much of anything.

I think you've got the polarity of anode / cathode wrong. A-/an- is negative. Also, a quick way of memorizing the charge of CAT-ions is to transform them mentally into cute little feline ions, with happy cat faces, which are obviously purrfectly pawsitive. :3

Filtration is really only the separation of a solid and a fluid. It would be more correct to simply call the process water treatment. Filtration is certainly a part of that but so are sedimentation, precipitation and (probably) coagulation/flocculation.

Look at all this work it took to nickel plate my old water block, yet idiot me could effortlessly corrode it all away with a little copper sulphate (biocide) added to the coolant. Been running pure distilled water ever since without issue.

You need to do some videos on the performance of the RX 5700 range of cards the lack of reviews of these cards from reputable reviews is annoying. All I am finding from you is The Pulse and the Red Dragon. This video was insightful.

Most of their filter equipment look similar to our effluent at work for out pretreatment. (Australian aluminium power coating place. the ploymer tank seems similar to our floc tank that an additive goes in to make solids sink.

Steve, this is actually quite inspiring! Most of the square footage in the factory is used for processing the water, yet I'm assuming they are quite profitable, despite this seeming inefficiency. Thanks for the video!

11: 10 that would be a hydraulic press filter, as you can see the hydraulic pump and reservoir underneath. It would be very impractical and quite dangerous to have pneumatic press operated at 2500psi

So, Gamers Nexus, do you think you could get some footage up of plating copper/most common metals onto aluminium? Would be lovely if you could show people how difficult plating aluminium is.

4: 02 Just FYI Steve cation is meant to be read cat-ion, since an ion is an atom with a positive or negative charge from the loss or gain of electrons. Good videos Steve, I'm enjoying these tours
