Take-Down of Thermaltake's Engineering & Marketing

Thermaltake's latest virtual Computex showcase featured the Tower 100 mini-ITX case, the Divider 300 TG ARGB, new power supplies, and the Floe RC. Some of these products are actually promising, but Thermaltake frustratingly botches the final stretch of details that would take it from almost really good to actually really good. We're tired of trying to help Thermaltake improve its products via emails and discussions at tradeshows, so hopefully this will help the company wake up to some of its frustrating, repeat shortcomings and mistakes. We want Thermaltake to get better. Good people work at the company, but word isn't making it high enough up the chain. The products are so consistently close to competitive that it's painful to see them miss on often easily fixed issues or quality control problems.

I like the Tower 100
It looks cool (not temperature wise), has enough space for a decent system.
Make the glass side panels half wide, the other half mesh, figure out a better solution for the bottom fan/psu and it will be a good case IMO.
Heck, make the side panels like the other case with the diagonal split in it.
I think the design team is just that, designers and have not a whole lot of experience in computer building. But I mean, somewhere in the chain has to be someone who has to think mhhh... it looks good but...
And I'm sure that you guys from Gamers Nexus and other Media outlets don't mind giving feedback when asked about a prototype. I would even go so far to get you as a consultant for a product. With all the cost of making a tool, the cost of you giving feedback or ideas on how to improve a product is nothing. You already do that for free in the reviews but then it is too late.
I hope Thermaltake and others learn from this and we all get better products at the end.

I have still yet to buy anything Thermaltake if you exclude the cooling kit boxes because of everything you have pointed out. Why buy something they make that is 95% half-arsed 5% innovation when I can wait a month or two extra and get something extremely similar from corsair or alike that is built a lot better without the flaws & with the new innovations. As for the cooling kit boxes... I can imagine they are good when they arrive with everything but having order 2 and 2 out of 2 have arrived missing parts. It leaves a lot to be said about how they are running the operation full stop not just surround new releases & needing pushbacks

idk when I first got into pcs I wanted the core x1 because it was im pretty sure the only itx case that you could put a 360 into I this big idea I was going to get right into custom water cooling, yah all that wasn't in the budget lmao but then you had that video about caselabs going out of business and a lot of people in some stuff I was reading was calling Thermaltake thermalfake im not really sure about that there are some similarities honestly this all just makes me want a (have it in my pc notes lmao) nova x2m, mercury s3, or a bullet bh2 wish I had got into pcs sooner

I worked at Micro Center for a couple years, and a good number of people still called it Thermal Taaky ... Not sure if they were joking or not. I call it that jokingly.
The RAM thing is also nuts... I have a couple kits of Corsair 4400MHz DDR4 I got a couple years ago, and they came with a cover with a small fan [30, 40mm?] to cool them, so... Yeah, watercooling is nuts. It looks cool, but it could have just been a separate cooling cover with a fan and RGB
List of good Thermaltake products:
Tower 900
Core P3
Core P5
Baby's first open loop

Here's a thought for the split glass design, and it's something I have been saying about most case side panels that were split for years: tool them to where the mounting points are the same all around, that way the panel could be rotated to suit what part of the case you want people to focus on! I've seen so many cases where I thought, I love this case, but the window is in the wrong spot, or the side panel fan would cool so much better if I could just rotate this panel 90 degrees, but because of tooling, its stuck in only this orientation!

but to be fair to Tt, i have the Tt Core V21 as it's the only one fitting under my desk without sacrificing inside space! - what i really loved about it is the truly customize ability as you can even choose it's orientation - it's not the nicest case and surely has poor HDD mounts i rather screw in than risking my HDD falling down and the plastic cover of the extension slots is also a bad joke! - but idk of a case that has that magnitude of customization ability, and i searched a lot because i needed it!

10:55 you dumb. don't pretend you're better/smarter than the engineers in Thermaltake. They make less popular products but the engineers are not dumb. You believe with your life that you need an intake fan for a PC case!
12:44 You dumb. The PSU is inverted, don't you see the RGB fans?! The representative is simply scared of you to respond to you properly.
21:50 Front RGB fans for bling. Imagine front with or without fans, side exhausts will still pull some air from the front.

Thermaltake has always been the cheap brand, even their higher end products are chintzy but come with a far higher price. Found out the hard way when I bought a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream that looked nice and high end only to be cheap on the inside. They'd be right at home making cheap Chinese smartphones or cars where the Chinese people are easily duped into buying and pretend it works as good as the reputable brands but the rest of the world sees differently.

When Thermal - Take copied other designs they at least almost got it right, ask them to think and they just can't do it because all creativity has been killed, breed out or ended up in an organ bank, so things will never change with them, it's not there fault as individuals, it's their society, you are the lowly reviewer and should not have any objection and should just be positive that they actually have a product according to their face based thinking.

I actually watched the full video. I'm not particularly aligned with any brand, for any component - you make good products, at a competitive price and I'll probably take notice and like it.
But TT is absolutely threading the line of not caring and doing just the bare minimum. If they don't get their shit together, they'll probably either be overshadowed by everyone else or they'll go under, and that'll be a shame.
