Use a formula to determine highlighted dates. There are a number of ways to set this up, but the best way is to use Conditional Formatting to create a notification based on Todays date. 1. Select the column or range of cells that will have dates. Click Conditional Formatting and then create a New Rule. 2. Choose Use a formula to determine which cells to format. Still struggling with this. Say I want 01/20/23 I would expect to select that format then go back to that field and type in 012023 and have it fill in the forward slash. But it doesn't work on any of the formats I select. It is maddening.
Of all the computer programs I have learned Excel is the most baffling in that you cannot navigate it intuitively. It is truly designed for only a handful of people to understand who wish to dedicate their lives to it.
