Why would you want to update to Windows 10 ?? Just because 'it's something new' ? Tell you, this is just the worst from the Microsoft company. Stay with Windows 8.1. Windows 10 means: no more Here Drive+ bye bye, no more Paypal to purchase apps, FORCED OS updates that cause problems that weren't there before the update. Just Google up a bit. Even the Calendar app is GONE and has been replaced with Outlook calendar, good luck with that. Try to put an mp3 ringtone in Windows 10. Keyboard swipe is GONE. The Windows 10 has almost made me throw away my phone. If you look at Windows 10, it's just like Microsoft engineers were taking revenge and were doing their best to force people give up their Windows phones.

The best way to check if you have an upgrade available for your phone is by getting the 'Upgrade Advisor' app on the Windows Store. Bellow is a list of models that can upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile: Lumia Icon, 1520, 930, 640, 640XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635 1GB, 636 1GB, 638 1GB, 430, 435, BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q, MCJ Madosma Q501 You'll also need at least 1.4 GB in memory available. The source is Microsoft's official site.

why would anyone upgrade while google doesn't have support for WMP ? As for app builder , even if you pay, its a crappy app that will work a few times then it breaks. been searching for a standalone app builder...even in archive and none found. (and no..will not run Android.. I'm happy with my phone as it is...4 days with one charge...not even on my 6000mAh Android phone..)

does cameroon have issues with electronics?? no youtube video works for any of my gadgets. now i have the m8, downloaded the insider previez, select fast build, it installed and restarted. but when i went to phone update, it just took some seconds and told me my phone is yup to date, but yet still on windows 8.1

I've lumia 525, i followed all what you said but when clicked on get preview build i was start asking for site like domain site etc then it was asking for windows id and according to ur video, you directly went on something different after clicking on get preview build, help me out, what should i do now?

Guys Microsoft can create great games but their phone is hit.. They are not many apps in WP store and most of them are paid..... to get free apps u need to unlock ur phone and install deployed and then FUC# U.. yep that's what their usless phone are for.....

Windows only released upgrades for certain models. My brother has the flagship phone (Lumia 920) and he can't update his either. The best thing to do before trying to update is to google the list of models the upgrade is released for.

I'll give yall a quick solution. Don't bother doing whats in this video since it doesn't work. Just download the Upgrade Advisor app. Be warned that it has been stated that after Dec 2019 it will no longer be supported also.
