7 day trial to op out if i deiced too it would be 720 to op cause they have email a terms and conditions which i didnt read to accept which i didnt get my tv or internet until the 15th i got charged before getting the box or internet so i couldnt op out if i wanted i thought it was a trial and the internet to the small tv box is vary slow skips all the time works fine on my computer not on small tv box isnt that the point to pay for cable to use it for your tv and skips bills are all over the place not organized very shady service att is scams 7 day trial dont tell you ur in a contact 720 to op out. outcome is i got messup now in a contact for 2 years for this slow tv box cause the internet they bondle and extra for the basic things you need VARY SHADDY ATT IS\r\n

My Mom is older and had traditional cable TV through Spectrum (Charter). When AT&T fiber became available in our area they offered an amazing one year price point. Year two is STILL $40 less per month than her traditional cable package (corded phone lol, internet, cable). The internet is INSANELY fast, and my 80 year old mother found the traditional style interface easy to learn. I really think they hit a sweet spot for non-tech savvy people. My Mom is saving $960 over her old spectrum cable bundle year one, and $480 year two. She also isn't overwhelmed by technology she just can't grasp at her age. The service is definitely superior because she now can access other apps on her TV she couldn't before, the internet is light years faster, and basically it's just WAY more content options for way less money. So yes, if you are younger and understand all the options in 2020 for entertainment this might not be for you, but it is FAR superior to traditional cable and far less money even with a contract making it an amazing option for people who don't want to let go of that cable TV feel and look. I see AT&T TV as a huge win all around and perfect for cord-cutter beginners.

Trade in early and get a new phone for only $49.99! We spoke to representative and asked if the monthly payment was $31.00 a month she said yes! And we asked to have to pay any other cost She said just send in your phone and there are no other charges. So we did! We were sent a text staying we received your phone it is complete! Next month we get a bill for an extra $174 . Speak to a representative they say it was a mistake! This month we get charged $174 again! This time they say we have to pay it! We go through everything that was done! Rep says I can’t change it! Gets a manager ! Managers says it is what it is! You have to pay it! That’s how you treat customers who have been with you fi 35 years! Never missed a payment or late on payment! So would you use AT&T

They saidfree phones, but I am going to have to pay for them--they said I would be reimbursed on each bill, but it's been 35 days, and I can't see my bill, They tell me I have to link up my bill to my ATT account where I pay internet and wifi. The telephone assistance is useless--just some foreigners who barely speak English who are reading answers from a manual. Finally, I am having dropped calls--something I NEVER had with the old company. BTW, I went to the ATT store--they are just there to SELL, not to help. BEWARE the In Home Expert. They are just salesmen--once they sell you a product, they will not help, eve though they have the expertise. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ATT.

I have Roku TV Free= You Tube TV 49.99 now I think they just changed it and I pay for Netflix I am not sure why anymore Cause Netflix has gone to hell unless U just love old dubbed movie from anyplace but America. AT&T shows up on my Apps as both AT&T TV and this thing called AT&T U verse but when U click on it it ask U to download EGTV that say Free Are any of those worth my time. I like You Tube TV and watch it most. AT&T is my phone service and I do NOT trust anything from them that says free. This is all on Roku I own a Roku TV and The Roku Box in my bedroom. Thoughts Please U seem to know way more than me about this stuff.... Thank U I think U saved me money already.

The AppleTV app for ATT TV (AT&T TV) is terrible. I have used most other video apps and this ranks the absolute lowest out of 20 at least. You can only fast forward a few secs at a time by pressing your remote button like 15 times during commercial breaks for recorded programming rather than holding down fast forward. It also freezes all the time and won’t FF or rewind on live TV. it’s just so glitchy. Shocked there has been no major update in years. If I weren’t getting a grandfathered rate I’d switch in a second. Needs a massive update. And I don’t recommend it to others for these reasons.

I left Spectrum because one day I walked into AT&T about a new cell phone for my wife. Short story, they gave us such a 'deal' for already being an AT&T customer. Bought U-Verse. Wife could not get used to the remote, so a month later, we switched to AT&T TV. Well neither my wife or I could get used to the remote. U-Verse gone now, can't go back. Cancelled! Luckily Spectrum would buy out. Never again AT&T!

I feel like this needs an updated review. They don't make you sign a two year contract anymore. They don't even make you use that dumb device anymore. They have an app and, as of March 2021, are the only streaming service that currently offers both the Yes Network and MSG Networks. They are more expensive than the other live TV streaming services but they also have the most to offer right now.

It seems like your review wasn’t honest and balanced at all. You where strictly focused on the pricing and contract. Here are a couple perks you neglected to mention.
1. By bundling with ATT internet I get unlimited data. When strictly streaming one has to typically pay more for the unlimited data which added with the cost of their streaming service cost more then cable service

AT&T has the worst customer service of any company I have ever had to work with. Their customer service agents are liars, and incompetent. The chief operating officer which includes the chief executive are so overpaid for doing nothing about good customer service it makes you kind of wonder why our government uses them.

haha very biased. so long as your pay your bills like a required and responsible citizine att wont jump your price. the price is actually really good to and is the big techs way of improving and using massive size to compete and push out other random companies which have saturated the market to help out cable customers.

I've been a U-Verse customer for years. I just found out about AT&T TV. My average bill is around $315 - .We have the 450 package, 50 internet and telephone bundle. What I have been trying to find out is if I purchase this new service, how much would spend or save No one at att could answer that question.

I don't care what exciting new product AT&T premieres. They won't even fix my damned hardwire phone line even though they know exactly what's wrong with it.

I hate that these apartments complexes sign contracts with ATT so u have no other options. Kudos to the complexes that sign with more than one carrier. Giving residents options. I was gonna try ATT Tv until I saw this. I'm returning the unopened box now. What a joke!

He forgot to mention, you have to pay your first payment on your first day of using AT&T tv, then your regular monthly bill the following month, so in a 1 month time span of using their service you would've paid 2 payments. That's what I had a problem with.

Comcast is the most corrupt & monopolistic company in the world. AT&T is second. AT&T wireless, however, is pretty good. Their business practices are illegal, and need to be stopped by the FCC & FTC. Totally extortion. Totally breaking anti-trust laws.

I have AT&T TV I do not recommend it. I'm stuck in a 2 year contract. I will be cancelling it when it is up. AT&T just needs to find one service to stick to and focus on. It's very confusing to have to explain all their different tv services.

i have roku and i use fubo as a live tv and streaming service with att unlimited home internet i pay about 70 a month for fubo and 70 for internet with offer no contracts so far fubo my wife loves it above all other services we had before

It’s still cheaper than my Cox Cable lol. And I don’t have to rent the boxes for my other tv’s. I have one box and use the ATT app for my other sets. Saves me about 500 bucks a year on equipment rental fees.

At&T will always put you back on a promo after the first year as long as you have two services with them, Cell or Internet. Just call them before the 1 year promo is up.

They seem to have streaming services like hulu Amazon and Netflix. But... yeah. 2 year contract seems to be standard with AT&T along with fees and such.
