How to use OneNote Class Notebook in Microsoft Teams - Kevin Stratvert learn how to create and use OneNote Class Notebook in Microsoft Teams Claude: Hi Kevin. Having seen a few of your videos, I was wondering. I'm looking at creating a -Service Catalog- type area where I would have sections where colleagues of mine would have access for general information and another section that would be secure for IT related matters and all of this would be accessible via an MsTeams environment. After seeing this video, it would seem that it might do the trick but before diving into it with the limited information provided, would you have any other suggestions as to what other tools you might suggest I look at?

I'm amazed that Microsoft have not allowed for an easy intuitive way for a teacher to update the NAME of a class notebook. You know when it's a new school year and your class is now third grade not second grade anymore, and you want to keep the stuff from the second grade notebook accessible, and you have a new second grade coming in... you get the picture ... do we have to create new teams? new notebooks every year? there must be a simpler and more fluid method, teaching is an ongoing process

Also, when I distribute pages to my students and want them to open them in OneNote and work on them immediately (so that I can see their work in real time - I find that there are always a few students who cannot access their -Draw- function and need to save the page elsewhere in order to write on it. They are working on iPads. Do you know why this happens? And what I can do about it?

Thanks. I was wondering if there is a way, like in Moodle, to hide content. I'd like to set up my weekly pages but obviously don't want my students to have access to all the material just yet. The teacher page looks reasonable but for each of my weekly sections, I have several subsections. Thanks.

This is great like all of your videos. I have a question that I have utterly failed to find an answer to. I have two students joining me midyear. I added them to the appropriate Teams 2 days ago, but they are not showing up in the Class Notebooks. Is there something I need to do?

Is it possible to use this as a kind of portfolio throughout the years? Students change classes and teachers, so is it possible to create a classnotebook in the first school year and add and delete students every year. keeping the work they did in the previous year?

Thank you. I have endured several training sessions on this as I am expected to teach using this from Monday but I did not understand and was left more confused than ever. You are very clear and I am now going to watch the rest of your videos. Thank you!

Thank you once again for a very informative tutorial! If, once I distribute a page and I have to reedit, say, a mistake- how do I make sure that the original page that wa distributed will also be corrected? Much obliged!
