I started with mining mid December 2018 which were indeed after the crash. I had a total of 5 GTX 1080TI which mined for 3 months straight before I started using them for Folding-home. Later in 2019 I started mining on a few of the cards and it coin went all the way up to around $13500. At that time I had 0,16 Bitcoins and thought to myself, I guess it's worse if it drops 50% than if it would go up 50%. Anyway I sold it and not even 30min later it droped to around $10.500. It haven't recovered yet so I felt kind a lucky.
Anyway now I use all my GPUs for Folding-home and have been for about 1,5 year, straight.

Crypto to me is a means to an end. The project I'm using (it's an -earn coin- NOT a mining coin) called Storj (distributed file storing) I gave over 6Tb of disk space and let it earn crypto. It's more than paid for itself over the past year including replacing a drives. It gives my unused hardware a chance to make some money, rather than sit gathering dust.

I don't want to promote anything about CryptoCurrency, but you helped me a lot by showing me what type of distro to use on linux platform, along with security and other software. I was able to build my own StakePool of Cardano. So far I love to use these softwares, Arch and Debian stretch. I Think you should take a look into Cardano and see for yourself.

The Tube coin is the way to go. Have a look at Bittube.video. Totally decentralized Peertube Instance of the Fediverse. With Activitypub protocoll. The best crypto Youtube competition....Tube price is still low, so that you could soon make a lot of gain, if coin prices will rise again...

The value of something is not based on its Worth,
its based on what folks FEEL its worth and how much its WANTED.
The actual industrial worth of Diamond is rather moderate
yet women demand a years salary to be put on their finger in Diamond form, not to be used in any worthful way

Already can tell from your words on lunduke's stream that you don't understand cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is about irreversibility of transactions and unchangeable monetary policy (never more than 21mil coins). None of the other cryptocurrencies have anything remotely close to that.

Personally I still believe Crypto is the future, but like you I don't think the one to rule them all has been released quite yet. That being said, I do invest in a cheap crypto (BAT), a more expensive crypto (ETH), and of course daddy BTC.

The only viable cryptocurrency is Monero.
All other cryptocurrencies are -surveillance coins-, meant to track everything and everybody, hence not fungible thus worthless and practically scams.
