I had a bitlock event and got the number but now my computer is completely broken...it won't boot up at all....
One second the computer was fine and then all of a sudden there was a screen that said it was fixing something...
Then it wanted the bitlock number and when I finally figured out how to find it and entered it and the screen said my computer is unlocked it won't boot.
My whole life is tied up in that computer...

Dude, I am sooooo glad I found you! Today, I was going crazy trying to unlocking my Windows laptop; I was trying to contact Windows through Customer Services chat and by phone, but I found this video, listen to you instructions where to find the code, found it, enter the code and now I have my laptop back and it is all because of you! Not all heroes wear capes, my brother-!

Dear Chris,
Does changing a new hard disk result in changes to the recovery key that I didn't know about before?
If it is correct that the recovery key has been changed, how do I get the original recovery key needed to perform data recovery on the old hard disk?

im working with a laptop with no password to it whoever gave it to me doesnt have the password it wont let me factory reset this without the key but the laptop has never been used it has been in storage for months any advice? its not connected to any microsoft accounts

Hi. My situation about the BitLocker is different from others commenting to you. When it appears on my laptop's blue screen, I just click the SKIP button and it opens back. They say they got stuck, why mine is not?

I can't find my key because I'm on a school computer and my device doesn't show under -devices-. Is there anything that I can do if I have no administrator rights?
