So basically pros and cons
HDD is slower, cheaper GB/$ and lasts longer, could be used for storage backup.
SSD is faster, is a bit more expensive on GB/$ and has shorter lifetime. Used for faster windows bootup or any commonly used programs. Could store few games. Definitely not recommended for backups.

That speed test is only good for short burst. I try to move 900GB of data storage and the hard drive throttles back after 10 minutes to about 35MB/s.

have you ever tested a internal ssd like the sandisk plus Sata III with a USB cord to a macbook or anything like it vs a samsung T5?
